These research activities will be based on experimental, numerical and analytical work and will be centred around the following themes: - Design models for concrete structures - Demountable structures including new structural concepts, detachable connections and composite structures - Sustainable masonry blocks including research masonry blocks based on renewable materials and demountable dry-stacked masonry - New reinforcement concepts

The research activities in the field of monitoring of structures and components can be subdivided into: Structural Health Monitoring of bridge structures & Material and Component Bank
Recycling and demolition at end of life
This research is based on analysing the recovery of materials
Secondary raw materials
Within this research area, the focus lies on transforming waste into useful products with attractive properties paving the way for Circular Economy
