The following subjects are preferred for the research:
- Sustainable construction materials (Nachhaltige Baustoffe)
- Circular building design (Kreislauforienterte Bemessung)
- Monitoring over life span (Monitoring über die Lebensdauer)
- Recycling – demolition at end of life (Recycling und selektiver Rückbau am Ende des Lebenszyklus)
The dissertation is usually completed as part of the work as a research assistant at the Institute for Solid Structures. Applications for the advertised positions and initiative applications from graduates with an above-average degree are welcome (see job vacancies for contact details).
It is also possible to supervise work that is carried out externally, i.e. in parallel with a job contract.
