Excursion to the Murrtal Viaduct

Exciting insights into major bridge construction

We were recently invited by Wolff & Müller to visit the construction site of the Murrtal Viaduct near Backnang. The impressive infrastructure project as part of the expansion of the B14 motorway offered participants practical insights into the planning and execution of a challenging bridge construction project.

During a detailed tour of the construction site, all aspects from the construction of the foundations to the completion of the superstructure were explained in detail. A special feature here was the execution on a launching scaffold. Our students were able to gain valuable practical impressions in dialogue with the dedicated site managers.
