Yesterday, on Tuesday 25 February 2025, we were guests at the Dreßler office in Darmstadt as part of a festive award ceremony for the Dreßler Bau Prize, together with the Institute of Structural Mechanics and Design and the Institute of Construction Technologies and Management and the students. Since 2013, Dreßler Bau GmbH has sponsored a prize for outstanding final theses in the disciplines of construction management, structural analysis and design and solid construction at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (Faculty 13) at the Technical University of Darmstadt.

We congratulate the three award winners, Ms Bosse, Mr Ditterich and Ms Gutermann, for the best bachelor's thesis in 2024 in the respective departments of Structural Mechanics, Construction Technologies and Solid Structures.

We are particularly pleased that our student Sina Gutermann has won the Dreßler Bau Prize 2024 with her bachelor thesis on ‘Investigation of cyclic load protocols for experimental testing to determine the seismic load-bearing and deformation behaviour of structural components’. Congratulations Sina!
